Studio Dress Code

In order to move easily and look professional, a dancer must be properly attired. We adhere to a dress code that not only keeps the dancer’s muscles warm, but also shows off their line and form to its best advantage. No other items are to be worn in class.

No jewelry, rings, necklaces or bracelets are allowed. Simple post earrings for those with pierced ears are fine, but no dangles. These requirements are for the safety of all dancers and their classmates!

Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, and Beginner Tap

Hair must be pulled back away from the face in a pony tail if long enough, or secured away from the face with flat barrettes if short. Hair must not obstruct the student’s vision in any way. A short pull-on pale pink chiffon skirt may be worn (optional). No tutus or glitter. For Beginner Tap – tan colored Mary Jane style tap shoes.
